Tina has been a valued member of the Hanawalt Dental team since 2006, bringing with her over 45 years of experience in the dental field. Her caring personality and warm demeanor are often the first things patients notice, from the initial phone call to the friendly farewell at the end of a visit.

Tina plays a vital role in coordinating Dr. Peri’s schedule, as well as managing the hygiene department’s appointments. She works diligently to ensure both patient and provider time is used efficiently, helping the office run smoothly and effectively.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys traveling, hiking, attending concerts, and exploring new restaurants with her husband. She also cherishes time spent with her children and her new grandchild.

With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Shelby brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her work. She began her career as a registered dental hygienist before returning to school to complete her degree in dental hygiene. Shelby is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles and enjoys building lasting relationships with those she cares for.

Outside the dental office, Shelby is a proud mom to two beautiful daughters and loves spending quality time with them. She’s also an avid roller skater—when she’s not helping patients, you’ll likely find her on the rink. Shelby plays on a local roller derby team and shares her passion by teaching skate lessons in her community.

Janene has been dedicated to the dental field since 1994, earning her Registered Dental Assisting degree from Citrus College. She joined the Hanawalt Dental team in 2013, where she continues to thrive in her role. Janene enjoys the hands-on aspect of being an RDA and especially values the opportunity to connect with and care for our patients. Her calm, nurturing demeanor has a positive influence on both patients and the entire office staff.

A proud mom of three daughters, Janene cherishes time spent with her family. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs, visiting the beach, and spending time outdoors on the weekends.

Jennifer has been an integral part of the Hanawalt Dental team since 1994. With a passion for expanding her dental knowledge and honing her skills, she brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to providing exceptional patient care. As an RDA, Jennifer’s bubbly personality and radiant smile have made her a beloved figure among our patients.

Known for her engaging and friendly nature, Jennifer thrives on patient interaction, ensuring each visit is both comfortable and informative while delivering top-notch dental services. Outside of the office, Jennifer is a proud mom of two sons, and she loves spending quality time with them. In her downtime, you can often find her walking her dogs, enjoying a Zumba class, or relaxing by the pool.

Melissa, affectionately known as “Missy” to most of our patients, began her dental career in 2002 after graduating from Pasadena City College, following in the footsteps of her aunt. Before becoming a hygienist, she worked as a Dental Assistant, giving her a well-rounded understanding of patient care.

Missy has been with Hanawalt Dental since 2020, where she excels in educating patients about periodontal therapy and maintaining optimal oral health. Passionate about continuing education, she keeps herself and her patients informed about the latest advancements in dental care products and techniques.

Outside of the office, Missy is a proud mother to two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys puttering around in her garden, working out, or spending a relaxing day at the beach.

With over 25 years of experience in the dental field, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our team. She began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant after graduating from Baldy View R.O.P., later transitioning into a front office coordinator role where she found her true calling in patient care and office management.

Katie joined Dr. Peri’s team in 2025 and has been a friendly and welcoming presence ever since. She loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident, always striving to put a smile on their faces.

Outside of the office, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her husband, kids, and grandkids. In her free time, you’ll often find her cooking, running, or relaxing by a peaceful lake.
