Dr. Peri Hanawalt Wes, DMD

Dr. Peri Hanawalt Wes has been fortunate to call La Verne home for most of her life. Born and raised in the community, she graduated from Bonita High School in 2003 before continuing her education at Scripps College. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 2011.

Following dental school, Dr. Peri returned to La Verne to join her father, Dr. Roger Hanawalt, in his long-standing dental practice. After 14 years of working side by side, Dr. Hanawalt retired, and Dr. Peri has proudly carried on his legacy of compassionate, high-quality dental care.

Among her proudest achievements are raising her three children—Dylan, Logan, and Miles—with her husband of over 15 years, Dave. Deeply committed to her community, Dr. Peri has been an active member of the La Verne Chamber of Commerce, Roynon Elementary PTA, and regularly volunteers with her children’s sports teams. She is also a dedicated supporter of local schools and clubs through sponsorships.

In her free time, Dr. Peri enjoys being outdoors with her family, diving into a good book, or binging a favorite show. Her greatest expression of love for La Verne is reflected in her ongoing dedication to providing exceptional dental care to the community she calls home.
